how to deleteapps from my 8 plus?

did not know how to try. now I know first , the icons were wiggling.did not know what theat meant, but long story short, my daughter came to my rescue! the wiggling stops when you hit hom ebutton but that is to remove the apps i didnot know that,now I do! i wish these came with a book liie the old days!! thank you for answering me. i will probably be here often,coming from Android!!

well another query, why didn't my notification sounds come over from my android? is that because it was Android? I do find the environment challenging@\ ! Android was way more inutive with this customizing!!! I am lost!
