time machine log location

Can someone tell me where the location of the Time Machine log is please?

I am trying to use a JBOD disk array that I've used loads of time, but Time Machine now keeps failing to finish backing up to this location. I need to figure out why and I am sure it will be in a log file, somewhere.

TIA

From Terminal, copy and paste:

log show --predicate 'subsystem == "com.apple.TimeMachine"' --info

modified command (by John Galt) to streamline the output, copy and paste:

log show --predicate 'subsystem == "com.apple.TimeMachine"' --info | grep 'upd: (' | cut -c 1-19,140-999

Thanks for you replies.

Is there a way of clearing the log? It would help if I could clear the log and then re-start Time Machine. Then I might be able to see why the backup is failing.
