This is my first text message. I am trying to send one, but the phone number is in red. I even tried to send one to me, but my number is still in red. I can't find where the address book is on my device to add numbers, though my name is in my address book. Can anyone tell me how to set this thing up? I tried all support directions, but no go. Ipads can't send SMS's on their own they can send iMessages though and if one own an iPhone one can set that up to sending the SMS's on behalf of the ipad
