Itunes movie rental

I rented a movie 27 days ago (The Rider) and never watched it. Now, when I go to watch it, it says unavailable. But I am under the 30 day limit to watch it, and was still charged for it. I need a refund, and I want to know why I no longer have the option to rent the movie. I'm enjoying Apple less and less these days.

MacBook Air (2018 or later)
