I annoys me that I can't use any of my usb-c adapters on my 12" Macbook *and* charge.

Is there any interface that gives *two* usb-c (or TB3) ports.

You can buy many different adapters that would offer USB-C power pass through ports and additional USB-A outlets and HDMI outputs, that would allow you to use other devices while charging your MacBook. Try Hypershop: https://www.hypershop.com/collections/usb-type-c?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIsZ_Gg4ul3wIVCz5pCh0VIgEjEAAYASAAEgIAa_D_BwE

Please note: 12" Retina MacBooks are not Thunderbolt capable, so no adapter can make that happen.

You miss the point. Of course I have such devices. As I said I want to connect my usb-c adapters as well as charging. The *only* usb-c port is occupied for charging.

I have actually bought an 11way hub which gives me USB3/USB/VGA/HMDI/network/PD (via usb-c) and more.

Of course with my Macbook Pro, I use my usb-c adapters direct.

The issue is on travels with my 12" Macbook with only one usb-c port.

Incidentally Apple Watford said my 12" Macbook was TB2 when I bought it.

You are quite right (of course).

I remember the guy who told me this and I will search him out next time I visit (8-)#

I have a few usb-c compatible adapters. I was simply trying to avoid buying something else for my Macbook 12.

When (if) usb-c becomes universal then maybe we will see the equivalent of USB multipliers.

Thanks for the info, and I will enjoy seeing the guy's face in Watford who missold` (8-)#

He will well remember me as buying it for my trip to India. 15 months later and out of warranty my whole keyboard/trackpad died. Not only was that replaced free of charge but I got a new battery as they are now glued to the top case.

... and that very guy did the repair and gave me the Macbook back.

Very pleasant young man, but he needs to gets his facts straight.
