Screen protectors for 11" iPad Pro?

Well I'm in the market for a tempered glass screen protector for my 11" iPad Pro but no stores seem to have them. And on Amazon I'm seeing reviews that they either don't work with Face ID or the Apple Pencil. Does anyone know why Apple doesn't sell one or where i can find one that won't affect Face ID, touch sensitivity or the Apple Pencil?

Actually, they are great for preserving the screen. But there are only a few made that are compatible with the Face ID. The cutout on nearly every screen protector (which leads me to believe there are only a handful of companies making them and marketing them through other companies) has the cutout for the front camera and the microphone. What they didn't realize is that there are the additional Face ID infrared sensors on either side of them. You have to look closely. I just picked up a ZtoTop brand from Amazon that has a larger cutout. I will update the post if the typing and touch is acceptable.

I installed the ZAGG tempered glass screen cover for my new iPad Pro 11” model and the sensitivity has been reduced — it’s pretty hit and miss, literally. The functionality has been reduced almost to the point of being unusable due to 1 out of every 5 taps not registering. The Apple Pencil II is not functional within any Adobe CC or other similar drawing app. It works as a stylus but requires me to stab at the screen at times. The screen cover is being returned to ZAGG, unfortunately, unless they can suggest a fix of some kind.

I’ve had the 2018 iPad Pro 11” for several months, and I was waiting for the ZAGG glass screen protector, which just recently became available on the ZAGG.com website. I bought it and it was shipped to me last week. Ever since I put it on, Face ID does NOT work. Consistently the iPad tells me “Face ID Camera Is Covered”. I cannot use Face ID for anything, and am required to manually enter every password in every situation... horrible and frustrating. The Pencil is working fine with no discernible difference before and after the ZAGG shield was installed. I am going to be contacting ZAGG tomorrow and see what their response and solution is to this significant problem.

The irony here is that I have the iPhone 10s with the retina display and it works fine with the Otterbox Defender and the Lifeproof FRE cases. It also works with a glass screen protector or both in the case of the FRE. This is my fourth iPad and have ALWAYS used Otterbox as protection. However I have just tried my second Otterbox Defender on the new iPad Pro 11 and the dead spots are maddening. I would think that Apple could somehow create a software fix for this issue by adding a sort of screen calibration to the settings section.

If you haven’t already registered your Zagg glass screen protector, do so now:
