How do you resize the captions band in the timeline?

I have a question about captions (subtitles).

I have imported into FCPX 10.4.4 captions automatically generated by youtube. I can see all the captions in the FCPX index. In the timeline, the captions appear as a very thin band. I can edit the captions content using the index. But the captions band in the timeline is so thin that it cannot be dragged or moved about to retime the captions, nor used to edit the captions directly.

I have seen FCPX help images in which the captions band is wider and easier to edit. I just can't figure out how to resize the timeline captions band. Any suggestions as to how to do this will be much appreciated.
