For some reason, your mac is using a different keyboard layout.
Go to System Preferences->Keyboard->Input Sources and select the correct keyboard layout.
If you don't see the right one, click the + button and add it to your list.
I don't know which is the right one for you - maybe Spanish?.
If you are uncertain, look at the keys on your keyboard and compare to what you see in the window.

Thanks a lot Luis, you were right, I was using the wrong keyboard layout, although Spanish is my first language I bought this computer in USA so I have to use the american keyboard. This solve the problem :)
