Finder wants to make changes.

I was about to download League of Legends but when i transfer the file to the applications, a notice pop up saying, Modifying "Applications" requires an administrator name and password. I clicked on Authenticate, then it said , "Finder wants to make changes". I'll have to type in my username and password but i dont know which password or username i'll have to type in. How do i solve this?
