If you do not know the Lock Screen passcode, then you would need to restore your device by following these instructions: If you see the Connect to iTunes, or you forgot your passcode, or your device is disabled - Apple Support.
There is no "trusted contact number", and the "trusted phone number" is only required to receive a Verification Code when you are attempting to sign into your Apple ID or your iCloud account. So, not sure what it is you mean by that.
