looking to trade an iPad Pro for a laptop.

I’m looking to trade an iPad Pro for a laptop. I have an old MacBook that doesn’t support the new software so I needed to update. When I bought the iPad a few months ago my salesman told me the iPad can do all my laptop can do and it’s just not suiting my needs as I want it to. I’d like to return my iPad or at least trade it in towards a new laptop. I cannot find the reciept however. Is there a way to recover the reciept? I searched my email and I must’ve deleted my emailed reciept.
