I’ve floren to screen for “Install ID X Mountain Lion” that says select the disk where you want to install OS X but cannot see options. The “back” arrow is dark but the “install” arrow is grayed out.

that is trying to tell you there is no Suitable drive available.


Your drive may need to be repaired first. See if Disk Utility is available off a menu. if not, you may need to start over to get to Disk Utility.


Use Disk Utility, select your drive, and attempt repair/first Aid
