iPad disabled

Due to an incorrect pass code being attempted more than (6) times, my iPad has become disabled. A book written on word with 20 pages of history, which I foolishly did not save, is now something I wish to reclaim. My specialist guru has not been able to open my iPad and I now wish to put my request to the larger world of specialists. My need is great, any suggestions will b e greatly appreciated.

sincerely, Roger.

As you will see, all the remedies given destroy any iPhone contents, and rely on your latest backup to retrieve them.
