Why do I get billed one week early?

Hello, I have subscriptions and every time I look at my Apple ID they say next bill date is dec 25th, but I got billed today dec 17th and I don’t have the money in the account. Why does it say the 25th? But they still go ahead and always charge early. It always happens the next bill date is never the date they bill me does anyone else have this issue?
