Mac has recently stopped loading some websites

my imac 25 inch midi has stopped loading certain websites, which until recently, it did. The websites are among others, Amazon.co.uk, national lottery & a favourite sports team's website.

I am using High Sierra 10.13.6. Also tried Firefox & Chrome, no use. I did try a fix on here, adding DNSs to my network which worked for the night. When rebooted, no good again! Please help, been a nightmare Christmas shopping.

Thanks

Hi Buckers88,

It sounds like you're having some trouble loading websites on your Mac. I know it's important to be able to get connected to the web, and I want to help.

Since adjusting your DNS settings seemed to work temporarily, you may be experiencing an issue with the your network. I recommend resetting your networking equipment, such as your modem and/or router.

If after restarting your equipment the issue seems to persist, we can try starting into safe mode to test if there could be a software issue:

Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac - Apple Support

I hope that helps.
