Greetings, Sblau.

I see that you'd like to remove a password that's protecting a PDF file you're working on. I'm happy to help.

Pages for Mac: Password-protect a Pages document -- I'm using this article as an example. To remove a password from most things, you need to know the current password first.

"Remove a password: Choose File > Change Password. Type the old password, then click Remove Password."

If you know who's responsible for the PDF you're working on, you can ask them if they'd be willing to remove it or supply the current password for you to remove.

Take care!
