How might I shuffle my entire music catalog?

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you want to shuffle all of the songs in the Music app on your iPhone. To do this, open the Music app, tap the Library button in the lower left, tap on songs, tap any song and then in the Now Playing view, swipe up, then tap to play your songs in random order. Tap again to turn off shuffle.
