Unknown artists and album
Hello, I transferred an iTunes library from an external drive and most of the songs ended up in the new laptops iTunes okay but over 9000 files were placed in an Unknown Artists folder although if I go to the files themselves they have the artist and album listed like such. On the external hard drive, these albums were under the correct artist folders.
I noticed most or all of these tracks have the track number and/or disk number in front of the file (and that's what it's titled in iTunes) Are there any types of solutions besides grouping them together and editing the data in iTunes? Thanks.
