Apple Music

I live in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I am trying to use Apple Music on my Alexa but It won't allow me due to geographical restrictions. How do I fix this?

Apple Music on Amazon Echo with Alexa should be available in the United States, including where you live.

I don’t know if the Amazon Echo can have a region. The region for the Apple Music subscription is determined by the region the Apple ID (the billing address).

Unfortunately, this response was not helpful. I am trying to link Apple Music to my Amazon Echo. I am doing this from the Aleza App in my iPhone. The instructions are as follows:

Set up Apple Music with Alexa

Open the Amazon Alexa app, then tap in the upper-left corner.
Tap Settings.
In Alexa Preferences, tap Music.
Tap Link New Service.
Tap Apple Music.
Tap Enable To Use.......

I do not get the option to tap "enable to use" instead it tells me that I can't use the service due to geographical restrictions. All my accounts are set up using a United States address (that's all I have) so why am I restricted?
