My sound isn't working

My sound doesn't not work when I get a call, and when I try to Facetime the call fails. I also can't use the speaker with a call. As well my perfectly good headphones are mot being detected when i plug them into my phone

Try these hints:

If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker - Apple Support

If none of those help, you may have to make an appointment to have your phone examined:
