Questions regarding my Apple Airpods

As it happens with almost every airpod users that their airpods drops in the ground while using. So, recently after a certain level of volume increase my airpod’s music sound can be heard by people around me, is it normal ?? Here, I am not saying my airpod has got some defect. Kindly tell me.
