IPhoto for 2017 15" MacBook Pro

I just bought a refurbished 2017 1`5" MacBook Pro. When I try to to use iPhoto I'm told I need to upgrade. When I go to the app store there is no iPhoto app. How can I get the upgraded iPhoto for Mojave 10.4.2. Thx

Use Photos instead, or log into the Mac App Store with an Apple ID previously used to download iPhoto, put the existing application in a place Spotlight doesn't index, and download it from the Purchases tab.

iPhoto won't work in future Mac OS X releases.
