does anybody know why my Iphone 7plus all of the sadden change my search screen from the regular screen to a widgets view.

Does anyone know what happened to the search box on the new iPad iOS? I used to be able to swipe right on the iPad and see the search box to easily find apps on my iPad. It’s gone now. Any suggestions?

You've gotten yourself into the Edit screen. Tap cancel in the upper left corner and you'll be taken back to the regular Today screen.
