OS Mojave is taking 244 GB storage. Can't operate it.

How do I clean out the storage when the operating system is taking 244 GB out of 250?

MacBook Pro w/ Touch Bar (2018 or later)

Click the Apple logo on the left side of the menu bar. Choose "About This Mac". Then choose the 'Storage" tab. Click "Manage ..." in the upper right and follow some of the suggestions offered there.

How can I free up my system storage (Mac book pro Mojave) My laptop is constantly telling me my scratch disks are full.
