Changing organ leslie control parameter

It seems that the sustain pedal is used to turn on and off the Lesley speaker in the organ sounds in mainstage. I would like to change this for all my organ patches. Sometimes I use a split keyboard with piano on the lower part in Oregon on the top part and I’d rather have a dedicated button on my keyboard controller toggling the Lesley on and off. How do I do this?

Is it possible to assign the sustain pedal to a kick drum? Hi, I am recording drum parts live with a PreSonus Atom finger pad controller. It's all good except that it would be really useful to be able to use a pedal for the kick drum. I have the sustain pedal attached to a Korg Kross keyboard & also linked into Logic, so when I press it I see the CC64 pop up as expected. What I can't seem to do is assign it to a kick drum. I have successfully reassigned some Atom pads in the MIDI Environment, but that only seems to allow notes to be reassigned, not CCs. TIA, Russell

logic Logic is somehow translating expression (CC11) message into audible volume changes in a variety of virtual instruments. For example, a virtual piano gets louder and softer when I record CC11 changes, even though the recorded controller messages show up in Logic as expression, NOT volume changes. When mapping an expression pedal to sweep pedal frequency of a virtual wah-wah, the volume changes concurrently with the frequency in a totally unnatural way, even though the controller messages showing up in Logic are all CC11, NOT CC7. And yes, I know that volume is affected at the extreme ends of wah sweeps. This is different; it's a smooth volume change throughout the range of the sweep. I've tried creating a brand new project with only one Logic-native instrument, and the same problem occurs, My keyboard is a Studiologic SL88 Grand, and the software control panel for the keyboard shows the pedal is mapped to CC11, NOT CC7. My version of Logic is 10.4.8, running under 10.14.6. Apple tech support can't help me unless I upgrade to current version of Logic, which I'm not willing to do. Can anyone help me to sort out why Logic is always responding to CC11 messages with volume changes?

In Logic Pro X, can I use a sustain pedal as a footswitch for a guitar? Hi, I am looking to do a recording of a song, start to finish in front of a camera, so I don't want to do this in multiple takes. What I'm looking to do is have a clean guitar tone, press the sustain pedal to toggle a distorted tone, then press it again to toggle back to a clean tone. Is there a way to do this? One idea I have (but don't know if this is possible) is to have two guitar tracks recording simultaneously, one clean and one distorted. Clean is audible, and distorted is muted, and when I press the sustain pedal, it toggles and the distorted track is audible and the clean is then muted. Is something like this possible? I'm effectively just looking to have a footswitch in Logic without paying a lot of money for a whole new interface and midi pedalboard I don't need. Thanks for your help.
