The app on Old Toad's site for batch rename with capture date/time

Doesn't work. In fact, if you try to download it, the ZIP unzips as the Change Title to Specific Date, which is a different thing altogether, obviously. I don't know how to contact Old Toad to point this out, and I may have somehow misunderstood the situation, though the instructions offered for the app specifically say that the app will rename all files to the date you insert for the first file.

I want to rename all files with their individual capture date and time, thus: 2018-12-21_183314

Any help? (And thanks to OT in advance for having converted these scripts by Leonie to apps!

Are you asking about this script? I just tested it again and saved it as a new user tip here:

Script: Batch Changing the Title to the Capture Date, 2018

The problem is, that we currently cannot edit the old user tips without messing up the code. So I created a new copy of the code.

This script will copy the capture date as a string to the titles of the photos, that are displayed below the thumbnails. But we cannot change the filenames directly using an Apple Script, because the original image files cannot be modified at all. Once you changed the title to the date, you can export the images with "Filename > Use Title", to create files with a different filename.

The scripts working for me in Photos 4.0 on macOS 10.14.2 Mojave.

You can save it yourself as a compiled script, if the link on OT's page should be broken. Just copy and paste the code into an Apple Script window and use "File > Export". Select the format "Application".

You're right. The -04 link should download the script titled "Batch Changing the Title to the Capture Date-2018", and the 01 link should download the script titled "Batch Change the Date and Time to a Fixed Date", right.

As it stands now they both download "Batch Change the Date and Time to a Fixed Date". Let me get to work and get the 0-2018 file linked to 04.

I think I got it now. Will you check the two downloads, 01 and 04 and make sure they're correct?

It is still broken for me. Perhaps the problem is with my Safari. I cleared the caches several times with "Develope > Empty Caches" and restarted Safari and the Mac, but the link to number 4 is still downloading the item from number 1.

Here is a screenshot of what I am seeing, when I to download the item:

I'll make another test with Firefox.

Added: No, it is the same in Firefox:

I click number 4, but are seeing this prompt:
