Compressor 4.4.3 Super Slow and Crashes

OK, for the last 9 months my (iMac Pro, High Sierra 10.13.6, FCPX 10.4.4, Compressor 4.4.2, using G-Raid external drive 8T) has been purring like a kitten. Then after ONLY upgrading to Compressor 4.4.3 it all went down hill. Super slow, Crashes, rendering which took 5 min for a 90 second spot, now its 25 min. . . ugh, I've owned Mac's starting in 1992 with the Quadra 605 and have had all the different Mac's/iPhones, etc over the past 25 years. I'm not stupid and have not posted in forms before, to me a Mac is a game/puzzle and over the years I troubleshoot it on my own. My 2 cents, somethings buggy with the latest Compressor 4.4.3 update. If I could only return to 4.4.2, but FCPX 10.4.4 won't work with it. Signed, Waiting for Compressor 4.4.4. :-)

Open Compressor by itself. Clear any and all batch jobs. Go to Preferences, to Advanced and click the Reset Queue button. Do a "Clear All Jobs" function. Click it again and do a "Repair Compressor" function. Reboot your Mac. I'd open Disk Utility and run a First Aid on all drives for safe measure.

If that doesn't help, I'd get the free app "FCS Remover" from DigitalRebellion.com and use it to totally remove Compressor from your system. Then open the App Store, go to Purchases and install Compressor from scratch.

Same issue here. As soon as I start batch it hangs and I have to force quit. I'm trying to process a video which is less than 1 minute and it exports from FCP with no issue in under a minute. Compressor hangs every time. Super frustrating especially when previous versions worked fine. Running a 2017 iMac 4.2Ghz i7 with 40GB ram, Radeon Pro 580 with 8GB memory. MacOS Majave v10.14.3
