My daughter has an old iPhone 5s that she uses as an iPod and camera. It does not have a SIM card. She has her own Apple ID and is registered as a child in our family. How can we activate facetime on the iPhone? At the moment it just gets stuck on the waiting for activation screen. Thanks a lot.

I see that you're unable to get FaceTime to activate on your old iPhone 5s you've given to your daughter. You have it set up so that it doesn't have a cellular connection but it can connect to Wi-Fi. I'm happy to help.
