Lag in live wallpapers

Ive noticed on my new iPhone XS Max that there is a lag in the live wallpapers i take with the camera. Live wallpapers are similar to videos right? Well lets say you took a 5 second video of your daughter running and about 3 seconds into the video it lags and looks like she teleports. Thats how it is with my live photos taken with the camera. Everything else works fine. The camera works fine for normal photos and videos as well. Its only the live photos taken with the camera that show up like this. Anyone else have this problem or find any solutions? Ive read turning off the HDR works but it didnt for me.

It’s not the live wallpapers that’s the problem. It’s the Live Photo’s taken with the camera. There’s a lag about 2 seconds into the photo

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities! I understand it appears the Live Photo you use with Live wallpaper on your iPhone appears to lag unexpectedly.

The following guide provides helpful information for using Live wallpaper: Change your iPhone wallpaper

Within the guide, you'll see the Live wallpaper will only animate when you firmly tap the display on your iPhone. This animation only occurs for a few seconds. To help troubleshoot and isolate the behavior you're experiencing, I suggest to test the behavior with a different Live Photo you have on your iPhone with Live wallpaper.
