New Ipad

I need to erase everything from my old iPad without affecting the new one. How should I proceed?

In your old iPad: Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Contents & Settings. Go into to your iCloud account from personal computer, click old ipad, click Forget Device, to turn off Find My iPad.
