Won’t turn on

I was given an Apple Watch series 3 for Christmas but it won’t turn on. I left it on the charger all day and night and nothing. Not even the Apple logo appears

Have you tried everything here:

If your Apple Watch won't charge or it won't turn on - Apple Support

Note the last thing is to contact Apple since it would appear you have a hardware problem
