Grainy Slo-Mo on iPhone XS Max

One reason I bought a new iPhone (XS Max) is for the camera. I like to take Slo-Mo videos and the iPhone 6 did that well at 240fps @ 720p. I was excited for the new iPhone since it also does 240fps, but at 1080p.

However, the quality on the XS Max is terrible. It’s grainy. Lots of snow on the screen. The lighting may not be bright daylight, but it’s certainly not too dark. And I’ve recorded darker videos on the iPhone 6 with no grain at all.

Suggestions?

Thank you
