Streaming Using Apple TV

Is there a limit to the number of photos that can be streamed from networked PC using Apple TV. I have some files with several hundred photos to be streamed

photo streaming on apple tv? Ok so I've imported some photos on my MacBook Air to photos app and they have synced to my iPhone 6 and iPad mini 2 but for some reason they are not syncing with my Apple TV 3rd generation and they are on the same account and on wifi system and I can't figure out why they are not downloading to my Apple TV. Just for so you know the photo stream is switch on on Apple TV and on my other devices. I want to use the photos as a screen saver on the TV's. Any one know how to get round this?
