no internet

i have iphone 5s and a active data plan and my issue is i cant access the internet unless im on wifi. when i try to, it says " could not activate cellular data network"

The cellular data network is provided by your carrier. You must contact them to troubleshoot this issue. There are a couple of things you can try first:


  1. Restart the phone as explained in this link-->Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
  2. Settings/General/Reset - Reset Network Settings - this will remove Wi-Fi passwords, but won't do any other "damage."


If neither fixes it you need help from your carrier.
