Selecting and downloading multiple photos from iCloud
I can't select and download more than one photo at a time from iCloud, what happened? Command shift doesn't enable multiple photo selections. Can't download an entire folder either. Please help!

in www.icloud.com and holding command key and tapping photos will select them and click on download icon , the shared albums can not be downloaded ( only the photos inside can be selected and downloaded ) .
If there are thousands of photos , it's very inconvenient just holding command key and tapping them , that's the reason Mac user set up iCloud photo library see this article https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT204264
