Solution to connecting an Anova Cooker to wifi

After literally hours of attempts with different routers, phone calls with Apple, Comcast, and Anova, strings of emails with Anova (including videos of trying to set up wifi), and a warranty replacement unit that exhibited the same issue, I discovered a simple solution to this problem deep in the Anova help community: Set up a guest network and connect it to that. Bingo.

Until I found the guest network trick, I was going to unload the thing on Craigslist and buy a Joule, instead, but this has spared me the hassle.

Cheers!
