Configuring an HP Deskjet 3052A into my local Wi-Fi network on my Mac

When I attempt to print an E-Mail on my iPad to my local printer, the iPad responds no 'Air Printers found'.

How does the iPad know to look for an Air Printer vs a printer???

Does the Configuration File in the Network page have anything to do with this???

How if I can, read this Configuration File???

Hello TourdeFrance2013,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. I understand from your post that when you attempt to print something from your iPad to your local printer, you're getting a message that says no air printers found. I am happy help.

Since you can't hook up your printer directly to an iPad, there is a method of printing that is called AirPrint which you will need to set up. Use the article below to set it up.

Use AirPrint to print from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Let me know if you have any questions.

Have a great day!
