Logic Pro X license info for crossgrading to Cubase Pro

Hi everyone.

I've been a long time user from Logic, since version 2.6 (back in 1997 or so, when it was still owned by German company eMagic).

I will have to purchase Cubase Pro 10 to use for specific projects, and was thinking of using their crossgrade pricing to save some money.

Logic Pro X is on their list for "crossgrade accepted products".

However, can't find info regarding my ownership of Logic Pro anywhere.

Purchased Logic back in Nov 2013 through the AppStore when it became available there, and have kept on updating it since, but I was using a different computer back then.

Through the AppStore I can't find information regarding the purchase, how much did I pay, not a copy of the invoice or even a serial number.

When I open Logic Pro X and click on the info window "About Logic Pro X", there's no serial or ownership information in sight.

How can I prove to Steinberg that I own this copy of Logic Pro X?

Is the license information hidden somewhere on the computer on some file?

Do I need to fill out a form somewhere and ask Apple for the confirmation?

Thanks!

I guess with Logic Pro X you just need to show that you purchased the app. Normally the receipt would have been sent to the email address associated with your Apple ID account. You may look it up there. Another way would be to download a copy of your App Store activity.

Go to privacy.apple.com and sign in with the Apple ID you used to purchase Logic.

Under "Obtain a copy of your data" click on "Request a copy of your data" > tick "Apple Media Services Information" > then click "Continue" > select file size > "Complete Request"

From my experience, Apple would send an email notification when the file is ready to download. Such data requests can take as long a week, though. If you're in a hurry, you can always call Apple customer support.
