Face id

My Face ID stopped working so I went to reset it and my face is in the frame and in the perfect position yet it still says my face is out of view

Sounds like the camera is not functioning properly. I suggest you call your local Apple Store and make an appointment for them to examine it. Afterwards they will tell you your alternatives.
