Podcasts not syncing between iPad and iPhone

I’m sure all the Settings are right and the same, any ideas on how to fix it?

Whatever Podcast I am playing on my iPad is getting displayed on my iPhone, but the same is not happening for iPad!!! Any talks on this??? CarPlay and Podcasts ignores "downloaded" list from iPhone I keep only 3 episodes of my podcasts on my iPhone. I play my podcasts from the Downloaded list, allowing me to play the oldest first and play them in downloaded order. CarPlay in my car has no route to reach the downloaded list. I checked for previous discussions on this problem and found this: CarPlay and Podcasts doesn't show downloa… - Apple Community I have already tried setting podcasts to play from the Downloaded list before connecting my iPhone to my car, but CarPlay just ignores my instruction. When the episode I'm listening to finishes, it goes on to play other episodes from the same show. It seems CarPlay has been built to deliberately exclude the Downloaded list. It also seems CarPlay ignores the choice made from my iPhone. Has anyone come across any circumventions or resolutions? [Edit: the device in the post details is incorrect. It is an iPhone 7 running iOS 15.7.7] Thanks, Chris
