how do I downgrade from Mojave to Yosemite

I use 2011 QuickBooks and since upgrading to Mojave, I can no longer use it. I'm right at the end of year for taxes. I was not thinking at all when I upgraded, it has been a month since I did a back up of my computer. How can I go back to Yosemite?

If you have a full backup when you had Yosemite, then you can use recovery to erase your drive completely and then reinstall/restore from that backup. If you do not have a backup, you cannot (unless Yosemite was your original OS and you use internet recovery to erase your drive and reinstall the original OS).

We lost our business in the hurricanes of 2017, so I really don't need QuickBooks any longer. I have continued using QB in 2018 for tracking personal income/expenses. Our tax person simply requests a few reports printed. I want to be able to open up QuickBooks on my computer for any past information, which has been a lot of the time. How difficult is it going back to Yosemite? Or is it simply easier to pay the cost to purchase Quickbooks?
