What is ByteFenceHelper
Got what looks like Malware on a 2011 IMac running High Sierra. It's called "ByteFenceHelper"
can't get it off the desktop. Thanks for listening
It is, what some companies refer to as a Potentially Unwanted Program. Malwarebytes posted great Removal instructions for it here: https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/215281-removal-instructions-for-bytefence-anti-malware/. You can also download a free trial of Malwarebytes for Mac to remove it.
