Seems to be a rash of this problem occurring today... Tap the Settings button..... then tap Safari.... then turn the Block Pop Ups button to On. Also...scroll down to Clear History and Website Data. This worked for me.

It will. You need to install an ad blocker. Search the App Store. I personally use crystal. Bit of setting needed.
