I was cycling wearing gloves. On checking the watch, I somehow swiped right as I rolled back my sleeve. I then tried to swipe back to the main screen but hit End instead. There is only a Done button so I had no way to go back and resume the ride workout. Did I miss an option or is there really no way to resume a workout? Could this be added in a future software update?

Thanks for the answers everyone: at least I now know I didn’t miss the resume button. I hoped that there might be a way to resume the workout in case I accidentally hit end again, or change my mind and carry on. Maybe a SW update can add this option.

There is no way to resume after you hit End, the data up to that point is made final and committed to your permanent record. You might have to settle for two shorter workouts, but this is probably less annoying than forgetting to hit End until several hours later as you relax with a beer.
There is no way to resume an ended workout. To pause you can depress the crown and button at the same time. Depressing those again will resume.
