As soon as I have updated recently to iOS 12.1.2 my Touch ID isn’t working at all how can I get rid of this problem?

set up the finger print again. If that does not work, restore the device to factory settings and set it up as new. There may be a software issue.

Yes make a full backup on you laptop but do not restore from the back up. Set it up as new.
I never said there was tampering. sometimes there is a bug in the software. To get it to work properly you sometimes need to set it up as new
No it’s still non functional while there has been no tampering or any such things on any hardware of my iPhone it happened in just one day in the night the Touch ID was working on the other it stopped
But in case of my iPhone se it is not highlighting the text in blue as it normally would

According to this photo you have it turned off. Turn it on. once you turn those (at least one) if those three things it should let you add fingerprint
Though now it is entering the Touch ID page without showing any error but still the Touch ID isn’t scanning my fingerprint at all what shall I do
Set up my passcode or reset the phone?
So what shall I do will I create a backup of my device on my laptop and reset it?
