Apple TV 4K reset
My Apple TV 4K is outputting in HDR which my TV doesn’t support. Now I have a black screen and can’t navigate. Is there a fix?

It shouldn’t offer settings that are not supported. Even when changing to unsupported settings, it would revert to the previous setting if not confirmed, after ~25 seconds. Confirming would require navigating up and selecting.
On Apple TV 4K or Apple TV (4th generation), hold Menu and Volume Down for 5 seconds, then release. Your Apple TV will switch to a new video setting every 20 seconds. Select OK to choose a resolution or Cancel to quit.

Thank you. The menu/down technique did the trick.
Hi MRT12,
On this link, go to "Try switching to another display mode" and follow the directions from there.
