Got an Email saying that my account will be permanently disabled in 24 hours...

I am unsure if this was a scam or a legit email, and all my information is backed up on my email.., i was wondering if it was because the email and contact that was with the email was unrecognizable. i clicked the link and none of the links were working, and had a similar look to the original appl website. it asked for my credit card info, and i haven’t been getting or receiving emails..
