Verification Failed - iphone 7

Trying to Update Apple ID settings - get a Verification Failed connecting to apple ID server. Also, I cannot upgrade to new OS (Running 12.1)

Apps not uploading either (instagram and FB - maybe should delete - haha). photos will not upload in messages - but text will.

FIXED IT! : )

turned off wifi (3rd try) and then back on... and now everything works!
