I switched to an Android phone and those people that text me from an iPhone to my prior iPhone, their messages go to my old iPhone and the messages aren't going to my Android phone. Any suggestions. I've had them delete the thread and contact and sent them new contact and it still is going to my iPhone. Any suggestions you have would be helpful. How do I get my phone number an Android versus Apple.
Hello! Your text messages are going through iMessage on your iPhone, and therefore you have to disable iMessage on your old iPhone. To do this, go to Settings, and scroll down until you see Messages. Tap on the Messages submenu, and tap the switch next to iMessage to turn it off. Have a great day!
