high sierra printer change from "all", to "current page" as a default.

I'm using a mac mini (late 2014) with High Sierra and a Brother HL2140 printer.

I've been unable to find an easy way to change the print default from printing "all pages" to making "curent page" the default. This is particularly applicable to Libre Office Calc and Open Office Calc.

Problem here is, if I'm printing something in a hurry then somethimes I forget to click on the "print current page" with the result that a lot of unwanted pages can and do get printed.

So, if anyone can assist me with this issue I shall very grateful.

Thanks.

I've quietly put up with this particular issue for a long time. But I finally went into total melt-down when trying to print a single sheet from a spreadsheet workbook, instead the printer kept churning out reams of other sheets, the whole workbook in fact. Now there are ways to stop the printer such as turning the power off (fraught with problems), but hey all apple needed to do was include a default 'print current sheet' button in some clearly obvious place and not hide it as part of a drop down menu, a no brainer when you think of the number of people who must have the same issue.

Having said that, thanks to yourself BDAqua and others within the community who take the time and trouble to assist where they can.
